How is Edita Ungerova?

I know that this blog doesn't have many visitors. And maybe it will never have. You don't find anything sensational, there's nothing for the masses. But maybe you belong to the fans of the models that I know, than that's a place for you to step by every once in a while.

E.g., if you like Edita Ungerova, you will be delighted to get some latest private news about her!

After I had rung Edita's bell in vain for about 10 or 20 times withing the past two years, her door unexpectedly opened on Thursday. It was really Edita, who opened the door! She had been in France for quite a long time and had cut all communication lines. You have to know that she is a very sponteous and impulsive person - extremely authentic. She would never live the expectations of other people. She lives her own life! I admire her for that. I like strong women :-)

When I dropped by she was just about to go out with Fluffy, her little white (female) dog. They are bosom buddies as you can see below ;-)

Of course I asked her about a further shooting. Her last one was "A Walk in the Park", which took place two years ago and which was an incident, not a well planned shooting indeed. I could see and feel that there is still a turn to posture in front of camera lenses. But I got also aware of a tendency to hand over this case to a higher court. "I'm too old now for these things", she says. Maybe she's right, and maybe I don't like words like these because they remind me of the running time.

Things are changing so quickly. Yesterday you wanted to shoot a girl - but she was too young for that. Today you're shooting a beautiful young lady. Tomorrow this young lady is a woman, who already has different goals and preferences. The day after tomorrow she's gone forever ...

Spring, summer, winter and fall - time runs as quick as you can utter the name of the four seasons.

Wow, Edita - you made a philosopher out of me :-))

Anyway, here I have the latest photos of her. The following weekend she will spend with her mom and brother outside of Prague. Next week she's free and she wants to see me. Who knows? Maybe I'm lucky and I can turn back the wheels of time for one day? ;-)

Some Empty Days

My dear Diary! On this week's Mobday nothing extraordinary happened. Besides the fact that Katty N simply didn't appear. Appointments usually mean not more than "Okay, we'll see". I'm used to it in the meantime, but in former years it was hard for me to accept such model behaviour. They don't mean it mean. It's just a different kind of attitude or mentality, I guess.

Thus, however, I was perfectly on time at a big business party in Andy's new restaurant. Andy had asked me to shoot photos of that event. He needed to be able to present his guests a photo gallery afterwards. So my camera and I didn't have to sit idle, but we were busy till the morning hours.

Therefore I wasn't angry when Petia told me on Tuesday morning that she couldn't come in the afternoon. Tuesday evening saw me in Andy's restaurant again. I like blues music and that evening Andy had native New York Black Blues live musicians on stage.

Unfortunately Petia couldn't come on Wednesday afternoon either. But I understand. Prague tourists are her business and right now there are a lot of them around here. Good for her - not so good for a photographer like me, who is only interested in special models.

 

 

 

 

Old Places .

Sometimes when I don't have shootings, I like reminiscing about shootings of the past. So I did today. It happened quite incidentally while I was again at Elena Nikulina's horse's place. I was strolling through the forest when suddenly it struck my mind that we had been near here before. I tried to find the little lake where we had shot "Blonde & Curious" (a couple of years ago) and some stand-alone photos which I had sold exclusively. Here are some impressions of today, shot at these very locations. I will send them to Elena, ask her where she currently stays and maybe ask her for a new shooting ;-)

Marcie Cole

Marcie Cole was on my schedule already last Monday. But then she postponed our appointment to Thursday.

On Thursday she just didn't appear, so I had a free afternoon for taking photos for a good friend of mine. No models, alas, but the new collection of jackets and trousers of one of the USA's largest producers of Skate, BMX and trek shoes, snowboots and clothing, who's Czech distributor he is. While I was shooting clothes, I've received a message from Marcie: "Coming tomorrow, 1 PM - okay?" I wanted to shoot nude sexy (female) skin without clothes so much, that I replied "Tomorrow, 1 PM. Fine, C U".

Today she finally appeared. She had been ill on Monday and she unexpectedly had to work on Thursday. But today everything went fine, so my Cameras and I were happy.

I was a little concerned about the question where she had parked her car. Recently I've often watched police men straggling and scouring and taking photos of cars which were parked on the wrong spots. But with a little downward movement of her hand she explained to me that this wouldn't bother her at all: "My new friend is a policeman!" - ... ?!? Gulp! ... .

Her new friend doesn't know anything about her secret erotic modeling job and he's very jealous. So I hope that - if he finds out someday that I took these photos of his girlfriend - he will understand that it would be a sin to hide a beautiful woman like Marcie from the world. Hopefully he will accept my apologies, will accept the fact that I know her for a much longer time than he knows her, and that he will be pleased that I can distinguish the job of a photographer from private life. And that's not easy sometimes ;-)
